While INBOUND 22 is in the rear-view window, there’s plenty to look ahead to with new HubSpot features and improvements. Subscribing to our monthly product peeks is an easy way to stay informed of the most recent updates.
This month, we have some exciting updates to share with you, including the ability to add a description to any type of workflow, have industry-standard questions in custom surveys and quickly navigate long playbooks. Let’s begin!
Product Peek 1: SEO Scan Email Notification
We all know the pain of refreshing a page and waiting for a process to finish. For HubSpot’s SEO tool, you can now navigate away and let it run its course. As soon as your website scan in the SEO tool is complete, HubSpot will let you know.
Although there’s a brief waiting period while your website is being crawled, you no longer have to keep switching between windows to check the status of your scan. When the scan is finished, you’ll receive an email with a link that takes you to your SEO recommendations.
HubSpot will also display in your notification center (click on the bell in the top-left corner of the menu) when a scan to a new domain or rescan of an existing domain from the SEO tool (Marketing -> Website -> SEO) is finished.
Product Peek 2: Workflow Descriptions
If your company has many workflows, it can be difficult to locate the one you need without spending a lot of time browsing through them all. With the addition of descriptions to any type of workflow (not just Contact workflows), now you can search through your processes more quickly.
Descriptions can be added while creating or changing the name of the workflow. On the main workflows page, descriptions for each workflow are shown and fully searchable.
To add a description to your workflow, go to the main workflows page by selecting Automation > Workflows in the top navigation bar. Next, pick a pre-existing workflow or start a new one. When you click on the workflow’s name in the workflow editor, a new pop-up window where you can update the name and add a description will emerge.
You can now view all your workflow descriptions on the main workflows page and even use the search box to look up any workflow based on its description.
Product Peek 3: Playbook Outline
If you’re like most users, you frequently need to jump around in a playbook to adapt to the natural flow of talks with your customers. This can take a lot of time and involve navigating through lengthy playbooks.
With the playbook outline, long playbooks are now easier to navigate, allowing reps to spend more time interacting with customers instead of scrolling.
As the playbook’s material is modified, automated outline generation takes place. Playbook users can see outlines, which they can hide or display by clicking the button in the top-left corner of the playbook modal window.
Product Peek 4: Custom Surveys
In the past, Service Hub users had to choose between the industry-standard surveys with little modification and the fully customizable feedback surveys with industry-standard questions. Many people want the best of both worlds – the opportunity to gather feedback using unique survey questions in addition to industry-standard ratings like CSAT and NPS. And now they can!
Custom feedback surveys have been updated so you can start gathering more specific information about customer satisfaction and/or customer loyalty ratings. You can also create reports that contain CSAT and NPS scores from both custom and industry-standard surveys.
