In this episode of What’s Wrong With Revenue?, we talked about why you need a set of highly orchestrated, personalized and cross-channel campaigns that support the marketing, sales and customer service part of your business.

Just rolling out tactics is not going to get you to your revenue goals. Your campaigns need to be one-to-one, orchestrated across channels and highly personalized if you want to create a revenue generation system. These marketing campaigns will bring new people into your orbit while the sales campaigns move people through your sales process.

We talked about the importance of ramping up the amount of personalization across all your marketing tactics and channels. While this takes longer, requires more effort and makes executing more complicated, your prospects are more likely to engage.

We spent time highlighting why your campaigns need to be built with the right expectations and enough budget to reach your target personas. A key component to achieving results is having the right assets launched through the right channels and, most importantly, going out to the channels where your personas are located.

We touched on ways to bait your customers with little pieces of content that don’t have to break the bank. A big challenge for a lot of our clients is that they have their Big Story and strategy in place, and they know who they are trying to attract, but don’t know how to transfer that story into campaign messaging. 

We wrapped up the show with the tricky piece of the puzzle how to measure campaign success and optimize your campaigns over time. It’s important to track the performance of your campaign. When performance starts to degrade and audience interest is lost, then it’s probably time to create a new campaign.
