In this episode of What’s Wrong With Revenue? we had an entire week to digest what we heard and learned at INBOUND 22. So, who better to debrief with than another of our friends at HubSpot who works with a long list of HubSpot’s top partners?

I’m enthralled with HubSpot as a company and love to go behind the scenes to hear about what’s going on. We started the conversation with Nathan discussing how people at HubSpot recover from INBOUND and how they spend the week after the conference.

Nathan brought us behind the orange curtain and talked about what he’s working on post-INBOUND, including following up with partners and other HubSpot people on behalf of partners. He also talked about the business that INBOUND generates for HubSpot.

We then shifted gears to cover a few of the talking points from INBOUND. I was specifically interested in Nathan’s perspective on the topics we covered with Guillaume Delloue during our INBOUND 22 edition of What’s Wrong With Revenue? live at the conference.

We talked about the challenges facing businesses today, and Nathan shared some of his experiences working with HubSpot partners, including the importance that those partners play in trying to figure out this new world order.

While the software is helpful in solving challenges, only experience can deliver some key skills. Nathan was gracious in his comments about Square 2 and our experience (we’ve been working with HubSpot for over 11 years and will celebrate our 20-year anniversary next year). It’s hard to replicate that number of experiences.

It’s more important than ever to have a partner that can help with strategy, tactics, campaigns and technology. While many partners choose to work in one of those lanes, fewer partners can see the big picture and help orchestrate each aspect of those pillars to drive real business results.

Nathan shared his early experiences with some of the new HubSpot product features and the thinking that partners are starting to apply to these new tools.
