A Roundup of the New HubSpot Features and Updates Available in Sales Hub

We’re excited to share with you the exciting new HubSpot features that are now available. We’ve got lots of great new improvements and updates to help your sales team at every stage of the sales process. Read on to find out how HubSpot’s improved its live chat and added new features that will help you personalize your outreach, send proposals, and collect payment easier.

Improved Live Chat

The latest improvements to the live chat feature, Messages, will help you connect better with potential clients and existing customers. You can now set your company’s office hours to let site visitors know when a team member is available to chat and when everyone is out of the office.

Another new feature called Reply Time gives visitors a sense of how long it typically takes you to respond to incoming chats. Similarly, the Availability Toggle lets sales reps change their ability and, if they want, automatically reroute ongoing conversations while they’re away from the office. Also, the chat is now Slack integrated, so reps can be notified and respond to chats directly in Slack.

You no longer have to start a fresh conversation every time you return to the webpage. The chat widget has been redesigned so that past conversations can be easily viewed. This will help both salespeople and customers keep the flow of conversation going.

These updates to Messages are now up and running for all HubSpot Sales Starter and HubSpot Sales Professional users.

Recommendations

An effective sales strategy involves sending personalized emails rather than generic mass communications. However, we know sales reps don’t always have time to tailor all of their correspondence to each individual customer. By combining sequence queues and recommendations in the recent updates, HubSpot has enabled sales reps to expand their outreach without losing that personal touch.

Sequence queues allow your sales team to enrol multiple contacts in a sequence. As you work your way down the sequence queue, recommendations will pop up and provide you with the information you need to make each email a personal one.

Quotes

Quotes is a never-before-seen feature in HubSpot Sales Professional. The Quotes feature helps you create professional proposals that look brilliant in just a few seconds.

Modern buyers are looking for the speed and convenience of B2B e-commerce. Quotes is HubSpot’s first entry into this B2B e-commerce world. It allows you to create and securely share impressive-looking proposals. It even integrates with Stripe for a seamless payment experience.

How to use this new feature:

  • To create a quote, go into the products section of a deal currently on record and select Create Quote.
  • Enter the quote name, expiration date, and terms, and customize your branding.
  • Next, you’ll confirm your own and the buyer’s information, and you can choose to add a signature requirement. You will also be able to add discounts and adjust terms.

Both Quotes and the integration with Stripe are currently available to all HubSpot Sales Professional users.

These improvements and new features will help you maximize your sales abilities and create new opportunities. The modern live chat will help you make more connections, while recommendations will streamline your prospecting while still adding that valuable personal touch. And the brand-new feature Quotes will increase the speed and convenience of your closing process, enabling you to close more deals in less time.
