Social Media Time Crunch? Beat The Clock Today!

 As we have explained over our currentbeat the clock resized 600 series of recent posts, social media is undoubtedly here to stay. Learn it, live it and love it: social media is an integral part of your Marketing Machine because it's the easiest way to interact with your customers!

While managing numerous social media networks as part of your digital marketing strategy may leave you cowering in the corner at first, we’re here to help you undertake this challenge. Believe it or not, you don’t have to be a Facebook, Twitter or Pinterest addict to get a good grip on your company’s social media marketing.

Here are several ways you can beat the clock and get the edge on your social media:

Create and manage a social media calendar. We have already explained how important this step is to more effectively manage social media. Think about it: you can coordinate posts from separate networks, allowing them to relate to and contribute to one another, leaving your customers wanting to seek out more of your content. In addition, by creating a calendar all at once, you eliminate the time you waste daily trying to think of content and scrambling to post it. Just follow your scheduled calendar and marvel at the time this frees up on your daily schedule!

Use marketing software. Marketing software tools, such as HubSpot, are key to making your social media management practically effortless. Once you integrate your social media accounts into your marketing software of choice, it automatically publishes content, such as your blog posts, to these networks. No more publishing posts on each individual network when your content is updated. Hubspot even provides relevant suggestions for social media posts that you can respond to, so no more scouring Twitter for posts to retweet. We say that’s definitely a load off of your shoulders!

Put it all in perspective. If you didn’t have social media, what would your time be spent on instead? We can tell you: putting in extra effort to reach customers, generate new leads, and check out competitors, all through more traditional modes of advertising that are giving companies less and less bang for their buck. All of these things can be done through social media with a bit of time and effort—and for free!
