Situation

Rau Animal Hospital is a veterinarian clinic with three PA offices. After one visit, their commitment to education alongside excellent care make it pretty tough to take your pet anywhere else... but beyond their current customers, almost nobody knew that when Rau came to us for help.

Challenge

Simple: get more patients! The management team also wanted to make sure all three of their offices "felt" like Rau.

Solution

Rau's corporate identity needed a big-time facelift to help communicate their inner goodness to the world. We redesigned their logo, brochures and other materials to be friendly and inviting while still maintaining a pet-oriented focus. The new identity also unified the company, making it easy to duplicate the Rau look and feel at each of the three branches.

We also focused on what set Rau apart from the competition (aside from top-notch service): their belief in pet owner education. We created their new website with this in mind, emphasizing their approach to both great care and knowledge.

Next up: spreading the word. We launched a monthly email campaign to all past, present and potential patients, featuring invitations to educational pet clinics. To grab even more new patients, we deployed lots of electronic sales tools, including a pay-per-click program focused specifically on local pet owners looking for a new vet.

Results

  • A 50% month over month increase in email addresses for the first four months of Rau's engagement
  • Between five and seven new patients per week
  • A cohesive, friendly identity -- no matter which branch
