Performance Profile
Our Traffic Manager oversees internal day-to-day development for all client projects in the shop and internal firm wide project initiatives. Responsibilities include trafficking, scheduling, planning, estimating and resource allocation. Most importantly, the Traffic Manager manages the flow of work to and from the creative team from the consulting team and the sales team. The Traffic Manager works as a liaison by coordinating communication and direction on a high volume of work from account services and all other internal teams. Projects may vary based on client needs.
 
Traffic Manager daily duties include

  • developing timelines and project completion benchmarks for use in scheduling and building project cost estimates
  • developing and maintaining a daily, weekly, and monthly production schedule and keeping the schedule updated regularly
  • communicating with internal team members and external resources on project progress
  • facilitating daily production huddles
  • evaluating, monitoring and reporting on our internal processes, providing recommendations to improve them, expedite projects, or enhance client service.
  • managing communication with print, fulfillment, and production vendors
  • working directly and communicating effectively with clients and other team members
  • working on many different projects and many different clients simultaneously
  • managing pricing and production tasks associated with client marketing programs
  • reporting on status of projects, project efficiency, and team productivity

Prerequisites

  • at least 5 to 8  years of production or traffic related experience at an advertising agency, production firm, or marketing consulting firm
  • understanding of business issues, market trends, and marketing program development
  • excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills are a must
  • ability to work in cross-functional teams, meet deadlines, and exceed expectations
  • ability to interact with a diverse organization, and championing projects across the organization
  • strong project management skills and the ability to work at a fast pace under strict deadlines
  • experience with project management software within an agency or professional services firm
  • very strong proficiency using Microsoft Office
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree required
