Careers: Senior Marketing Consultant.
Square 2 Marketing is a "no-fluff" marketing and sales consulting firm -- some people even consider us the anti-ad agency. Our goal is to help entrepreneurs think differently about their businesses and how they market them. If you can get behind our calling, we want you with us!
We create marketing programs that deliver real results. Sound good? Our approach is simple: we're committed to fielding the best team. Period. To help do that, we use quarterly performance reviews and weekly company lunches to keep everyone on the same page. We treat our team members professionally, offering them unlimited vacation, flexible work hours, work from home options, bring your dog to work days, paid sabbaticals and even money for vacations. Oh, and there's fun too, in the form of exciting social get-togethers.
There are lots of companies out there looking for people who are great at their job. Make sense? The problem is, they stop there. That's not what we're about. If you're interested in working for us, we feel like it's only fair to tell you we are as passionate about our culture as we are about helping businesses grow their companies. If you are positive, light-hearted, agile, confident, empathetic and solutions oriented, then you will love it here.
The Senior Marketing Consultant is responsible for working with clients to counsel, coach and advise them on "remarkable" marketing strategies to grow their businesses. Our clients need to get the "right advice" from us and our marketing consultants need to be able to deliver it—straight forward, bold, and direct. That's what we get paid for.
Specifically, this position is responsible for working directly with the client on marketing strategy, messaging, websites, email campaigns and other tactical marketing projects. Your job is to guide them, as their marketing "trainer" on the implementation of their complete marketing program.
The key to being successful in this position is juggling a variety of tasks, ensuring the marketing tactics deliver the expected results. Our clients pay us for our opinion; our marketing consultants need to be confident and comfortable giving their perspective, even if it makes our client uncomfortable. Our job then shifts into helping them work through the change so their company shines and their marketing drives growth. The entire team is responsible, accountable and compensated on client satisfaction.
